Hola! One week into our adventure and we are still going strong..... Except for getting lost a few times, 2 mini crashes,  scratches on the bike, a broken mirror, rattled nerves and a bruised ego! LOL!
We are having so much fun!

The first few times I got on behind Cordel I couldn't help but sing COOL RIDER, from Grease 2. http://https//youtu.be/RYB317pljts
You're welcome! :)

Side Note - All photos are taken with my cell phone. Only using cell phone for this trip so I apologize if the quality is not good. Not editing photos either because too time consuming. Sorry :)

So far we have experienced so much that is different than what we are used to in the Yucatan. Climate, environment, culture, food..... Everything is different!

Highlights - Popo (come on, it's Popo!), Malinalco (so much culture, interesting ruins and overall just a cool place), Nevado de Toluco Volcano (besides the lost part, and the crashes, and the long day, this crater was awesome!), Valle de Bravo (great town with personality and a great day to recover from the day before!), and El Rosario Monarch Butterfly Reserve (so awesome that the butterflies got together for my birthday).

We are currently in Morelia which has the most impressive and beautiful Zocalo I think I have ever seen. Waiting for the mirror we ordered to come in before hitting the road again. We are planning on leaving Tuesday afternoon. There are definitely worse places to spend a couple days!

A couple more points to add to the first post:

1. People CAN tell when you smile with a helmet on..... You just have to smize! A little tip from Tyra Banks.
2. I mentioned the heat in my first post..... Ya! Not always hot. Sometimes it is ridonculously cold!!! Although have enjoyed using fireplaces!!!
3. Cordel is a drama queen, more than I thought. At one point when we were hiking he told me his calf felt like it was bleeding. Worried, I asked him if he got hurt when we had our little crash. No, he was fine.... It just felt like bleeding from hiking! LOL! Another time we were discussing how long we could survive in the volcano crater with nothing but what we had on us. I said 8 days. Cordel said 4 hours. HaHaHa!
4.DO NOT LIKE TREE SNOT!! It is a REALLY slippery sap from a tree and when it lands on the road it is very dangerous! It made us go all squirrelly over the road. Didn't really appreciate that!!
5. Besides loving the travelling and experiences, LOVE LOVE LOVE being with my husband!!!!!
6. And miss Audi and Brisa!

Until next time, xo
