Southern Mexico Motorcycle Trip - Spring 2017

We bought a motorcycle (2012 Ducati Multistrada 1200S) and had a friend pick it up from the previous owner to store it in his Garage in Puebla, Mexico. That meant our new bike is located 920km from our home in Merida, Yucatan. Perfect, we get a nice first ride just bringing it home. But wait, we're halfway across the country. Maybe we should take the opportunity to see what's over there instead of bee lining straight home right? After all, we did buy a bike to go out travelling and exploring. So what started as a 920km ride has morphed into a plan to cover 4,000km's in a 3 week...or so period. We will try to keep the map updated with pictures and any cool facts about the places we visit as we meander our way throughout Southern Mexico. ***Added by Me, Melody! - we also bought me a bike but we are shipping it back to Merida and using Cordel's for this adventure. And any cool facts I added will be stolen, just so you know!
